This is literally my whole family back home. They always talk about how much they love black Americans and wish “they saw us as the same because were Gods direct children.”
This divide between African Americans and Africans was calculated and planned but not by either group. It was a plan created by white western society and European influence to destroy the foundations and connections of Black people in order to keep them dependent on a system created to destroy them. Africans, reach out to Black Americans and teach. Understand that hundreds of years of manipulation and confusion are expected and don’t let negativity deter you from building bridges. Not all Black Americans have disregarded Africa. African Americans, be unbiased and open to learning about different cultures within Africa. The whole entire continent of Africa is not full of babies with swollen bellies with flies around their heads. Those are media plots that have been implanted in your mind to scare you from learning the truth and missing your people. The truth of Africa’s richness and happiness and prosperity. Lets break these barriers that white supremacy has built up between us for hundreds of years. Don’t let stereotypes define us.
